We are looking for a Logistics Manager 

As our Logistics Manager you are a leader with global logistics responsibility. The position is located in our headquarter in Trondheim, Norway and reports to the COO. Our Logistics Manager has a highly motivated personality who drives the realization of top performance semiconductor component logistics involving customers, contract manufacturers, and logistic partners in several parts of the world. In this role you take ownership of logistics strategy and its implementation, including organization and processes. As responsible for a logistics cost-center you will lead and maintain a roadmap that will continue to develop, build team of supply chain experts, and drive systematic improvements. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated team players with excellent communication skills, systematic and analytic by nature, and who thrive when working with varying tasks and priorities. 

 

Tasks and responsibilities 

  • Manage the supply chain’s inventory, forecasting, shipping, import/export, compliance and costing 
  • Plan and monitor forecast/ inventory processing and work closely with warehouses to ensure timely customer shipments and performance, and review requirements as we grow 
  • Support finance team in reporting and cost controls 
  • Drive operational team and suppliers to meet targets/KPI-s 
  • Discover new trends and innovations in the field of semiconductor logistics 
  • Own implementation projects, such as ERP, forecasting, export, and work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations 
  • Work with multiple teams, such as sales, IT, manufacturing, for the continuous process improvement 

 

Qualification requirements 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field 
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience from similar role or responsibilities 
  • In-depth knowledge of b2b and global high-tech industry, preferably semiconductor 
  • Comprehensive understanding of ERP systems and their logistics modules

  • Strong communication skills and the desire to build strong relationships with a network of global partners 
  • Decision making personality 
  • Strong drive to build logistics processes that efficiently deliver operational results 
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English, additional languages an advantage
