As our Accountant, you will be a key part of the finance function and be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient accounting and reporting procedures. The position is independent and will have a good variety of work tasks, and it will develop in line with your own and the company’s growth. We are looking for a positive person with a service-oriented mindset to further develop and efficient finance function in a growing organization.

In this role you will be reporting to the Group Controller.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions including vendor bills and invoicing
• Responsibility for handling timely bank payments and disbursements including monthly payroll
• Handle month-end and year-end closing process and reconciliation of balance sheet
• Support on tax, VAT and transfer pricing issues and reporting
• Responsible for developing and maintaining accounting procedures and reports to ensure proper documentation, alignment with local laws and regulations, accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Continuous improvement of routines, processes, and internal control procedures
• Ad hoc projects including office manager support to local General Manager

It is advantageous if you possess

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
• 3 years or more of relevant experience, preferably auditing or accounting
• General strong accounting knowledge and experience with tax reporting
• Proficiency in written and oral English is a requirement
• Knowledge of or experience with ERP systems
